Michelle Eccleshall Completes the 3 Peaks Challenge in 24 Hours!

Our dental nurse Michelle has completed the 3 Peaks Challenge in order to raise funds for Cancer Research.

"After losing my mum to pancreatic cancer in December last year, I decided to try and raise awareness of this disease and hopefully raise a large amount of money - which will go towards research.
 
In April this year a group of us attempted the Three Peaks Challenge to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in just 24 hours!
 
I never imagined how hard it was going to be, not only was it physically challenging but also emotionally. We had a serious lack of sleep and had to endure all weather conditions - from freezing cold snow on Ben Nevis to burning hot sunshine up Snowdon.

It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do and I can honestly say it was pure determination that got me through it.
 
We completed the challenge in 23 hours and 45 minutes and managed to raise a massive £4500 that will be donated to Pancreatic Cancer Research UK."
